1-Tourist Village Rules

Reception opening hours are from 8h00 to 20h00

Check-in time from 16h00

Check-out time must be until 11h00, otherwise a new daily rate will be charged. At check-out you must hand in your keycard.

Our staff are not allowed to check-in without payment in advance, or through the previous presentation of a voucher.

We do not accept cheques as a form of payment.

Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, Multibanco, Credit Card, MBWay and Direct Debit.

At check-in you will be given a card with the information about your access key to your accommodation unit, which is valid only during your stay.

2-Breakfast

If you have made a reservation including breakfast, it will be delivered to the accommodation unit between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. You must indicate at check-in the desired time.

3-Hospitality

As a matter of respect and understanding towards all guests, we ask for special attention to the silence in the common areas. All noises should be reduced after 10pm, and you should avoid throwing any objects out of the window as most of our guests come to rest.

When you are out for a walk or using the common areas of the Village, take good care of your belongings, such as cameras, mobile phones, backpacks, bags, etc. Never leave these objects unattended. Their safekeeping is the exclusive responsibility of the owner guest.

When leaving the accommodation unit make sure you have locked the windows and closed the door.

For any information regarding the village, services, tours, medical assistance, mechanics and suggestions, Guests are kindly requested to address the reception. We will be happy to help you.

4- It is strictly forbidden to the users of the Village

Smoking inside the accommodation units. Under such condition, the guest may be forced to leave the premises without any refund of the amount already paid and also with the duty to give full discharge of the full amount of the reservation as well as the items consumed.

To practice acts considered harmful and/or inadequate to the moral and good customs.

Stretching clothes on the balcony

Carrying and using any type of legally prohibited object or substance or any type of weapon;

Taking towels from the rooms to the beach or pool.

Remove from the premises of the holiday village bath linen or other objects owned by Syntony Hotels.

The Syntony Hotels is reserved the right to request the vacancy of the accommodation unit when

verified use by intoxicated persons, for illegal activities, contrary to morals or good customs.

Pets are not allowed.

5-Damage

Any damage, not arising from the natural use of the thing, caused by the guest to the belongings and assets of the resort will be cause for payment of damages to compensate the same for the losses incurred.

6-Arrangement/Cleaning

The tidying and cleaning of the lodging units are done from 9 am until 5 pm.

The management will determine the schedule and sequence of cleaning in order to make it as agile as possible, not fitting changes by the guest.

7- Parking and Cars

The Resort has a car park.

We are not responsible for the belongings left inside the vehicle.

If the guest, while manoeuvring his own vehicle, hits another parked car, it will be the responsibility of the latter to pay for the damages and losses caused to the other guest. The Syntony Hotells may or may not mediate the resolution of the conflict.

Under no circumstances a guest may maneuver a car of another guest.

8-Security and valuables

None of our staff members will be authorized to hold cash, similar documents for guests.

Valuables, such as cameras, jewellery, credit cards, cash, passports, among others, are NOT under Syntony Hotells responsibility.

Synony Hotells has an internal security camera system, still, for added security, guests are requested to keep the doors of their accommodation units closed at all times - especially at night or when away from them.

Never open the door of the accommodation unit to any person identifying themselves as staff without a prior (internal) call notifying direct contact.

9-Children

We are not responsible for accidents that these may suffer due to lack of attention or supervision by parents / guardians. However, when noticing a lack of vigilance or care by those responsible, we may warn them and force them to leave the hotel depending on the gravity of the situation (without any refund of the amount already paid and with the duty of fully compensating the total amount of the reservation as well as the items consumed).

The availability of chairs and cots should be requested preferably at the time of booking or at check-in.  

10- Guests and Parties

It is strictly FORBIDDEN for friends or acquaintances of the guest to enter the accommodation unit at any time.

Guests may receive guests in the external areas of the Holiday Village, including reception, during reception opening hours.

Private parties and celebrations are NOT permitted in the Holiday Village. Likewise, the use of sound equipment is prohibited, as it may interfere with the tranquillity of other guests.

11-Rules for Swimming Pool Use

Swimming pool hours are from 09:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m.

The pool is for the exclusive use of Syntony Hotells guests.

The pool is not guarded. Please pay special attention to children. Children under 16 years of age are prohibited except when properly accompanied by parents or a responsible adult.

Please shower before entering the pool.

Always pay attention to the depth markings. The depth of the pool is 1.40m, with a smaller 0.40m area.

It is prohibited to use glass objects in the pool area.

It is forbidden to use toys and floating objects with the exception of coamings.

It is forbidden to use the pool under the influence of alcohol or medication.

It is prohibited to ride bicycles near the pool.

It is forbidden to bring animals into the pool.

It is forbidden to play ball in the pool, as well as in the surrounding area / gardens.

It is forbidden to book sun loungers.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, it is forbidden to jump or dive into the pool, as well as to run or jump in the surrounding area / gardens.

Appropriate footwear must be worn in the pool area to prevent falls. Room slippers are not permitted in this area and Syntony Hotels is not responsible for any falls or accidents caused by these reasons.

Syntony Hotels is not responsible for any injury or damage caused by improper use of the facilities and/or equipment.

We advise you to preserve silence in order not to disturb other guests.

Pool towels should only be used in this area. Dirty towels should be left in your room for later collection by our staff or at reception.

The Syntony Hotels is not responsible for any damage resulting from non-compliance with these rules.

Please inform the management of any safety conditions or violation of these rules.

12- Change of towels and sheets

Syntony Hotels is committed to helping preserve and protect natural resources. You can decide if you want to participate and join us in this effort.

Hang towels, I will use them again. If you leave the towels inside the shower a new set will be placed.

If you want the sheets to be changed you must inform us, using the card available in the room for that purpose. 

Don't forget, we are only guests of the planet.

13-Respect for the environment

The Syntony Hotels was developed with total respect, concern for the environment and care for the surroundings where it belongs, on the banks of the Paiva river, in the village of Paradinha in Full Geopark Arouca.

At Syntony Hotels you live and feel nature with all your senses and so that during your stay you can make a journey in harmony and fullness with nature, we recommend that you save water, because every drop counts.

14-Pets

Pets are not accepted at Syntony Hotels, so in case of non-compliance you may be forced to leave the premises without any refund of the amount already paid and also with the duty to give full discharge of the full amount of the reservation as well as the items consumed.

15-Covid-19

The well-being and safety of our guests, staff and partners are our highest priority, so we work hard to prepare everything in accordance with the health authorities and in particular the DGS guidelines.

16-Complaints

There is a complaints book. In case of complaints, please identify the staff member, the time of the occurrence and report to the management, who should be called to the site.

Other

The Syntony Hotells will not admit any demonstration of prejudice or racism within its facilities.
